Larry’s theatre career began at the ripe age of 8 when he began writing plays for the monthly assemblies of all the third, fourth and fifth graders at his experimental elementary school. He continued being a young writing phenom and had his plays presented at many New York City theatres while still in his teens. After this auspicious start, Larry decided to spend more time behind the scenes and began working Off and Off-Off Broadway as a stage manager and prop master. He then spent time working with organizations that were refurbishing the New York theatre world such as the 42nd St. Redevelopment Project and later the restructuring of underused spaces on E. 4th Street ( including the New York Theatre Workshop and the Kraine Theatre). He also embraced his bicoastal nature and began spending time in both New York and Los Angeles. He worked as a prop master for three years on L.A.'’s longest running show, "Tamara", the show that popularized the trend of events where audiences follow the actors around.

With a knack for developing projects from the ground floor up, Larry was instrumental in the founding of Resolutions Theatre Company and the Hypothetical Theatre Company in New York. But he is probably best known for helping to create and produce, theatrefofo, another trend-setting theatre company. Larry has produced many acclaimed and award -winning shows from the techno-opera “"Bluegirl”" to countless number of touring shows. He has worked with the Roundabout Theatre Company and Second Stage Theatre Company on Broadway and Off-Broadway Productions. He’'s also produced the television show "Psi-ops (Area 23)" now a popular video game.

In addition to this, Larry has devoted much of his life to the study of Holistic Healing. He is a practitioner of Chinese Medicine and an Acupuncturist, and has gone cross country promoting the field. He has coordinated holistic health fairs and other events, helped develop acupuncture school programs, and even worked with state legislatures, making them friendlier to the complementary medicine world.
